Center Stage Circle
Center Stage
Circle (CSC)
is a theater guild organized
to promote quality theater and artistic and educational programs at
Butterfield Stage through fundraising and volunteer
service. The guild hosts two events per season for
its members, including a Christmas Open House and a Valentine's
Dinner and Dance. There are three levels of
CSC Membership:
Silver
Membership:
($100 per person) Members at
this level receive a Season Ticket, a listing in each Main Stage
Program,, admission to both CSC events, AND receive
early reservation privileges.
Gold
Membership:
($150 per person) Members at this level receive Silver member
benefits PLUS recognition as
an Annual Gift Patron in all the Main Stage Programs.
Platinum
Membership:
($250 per person) Members
at this level receive all Gold Member benefits PLUS First Choice
Seat Assignments. Prior to any Box Office reservations,
Platinum Members will be called by the theater to
select the performance and seat assignment of their
choice.
SINFUL SATURDAY
On
June 2, stars from the 40’s were called into the land of the living
at Sarah’s on the Square as part of the Sinful Saturdays Series.
Donna Hertel, owner of Sarah’s, is attempting to atone for Sarah’s
sins by hosting one charity per month. She invited Butterfield to
be a part of this endeavor. We chose to have an interactive murder
mystery called “When You Kill Upon a Star”. The “stars” were played
by our very own Butterfield patrons, board members, Center Stage
members and supporters. We were treated to a rendition of
“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Judy Garland (played
by Crystal Wright)
that we wished never ended. We had many other surprises as the
night progressed. We enjoyed Mae West Breast of Chicken, Swimmin’
With the Fishes Crab cakes, and other delectable dishes. The food
was outstanding and a great time was had by all. Look for more
events like this in the future. We would like to thank Donna Hertel
for the opportunity and all the work that she and her staff did to
make it an evening we won’t soon forget. Stop in to Sarah’s for
lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed!
